We’ve just released WPAdverts 2.2.1! You should receive an update notification in your wp-admin panel within the next 24 hours or sooner.
This is a small update, but it includes one important new feature along with several fixes and improvements.
New Feature: Admin Notification for Pending Ads
In this release, we’ve introduced the core::on_manage_to_pending_notify_admin message.
If you have enabled the option to place ads into moderation when users update them via the Classifieds Manage block (or [adverts_manage] shortcode) in wp-admin → Classifieds → Options → Core, the system will now send a notification to the administrator. This alert will remind the admin to review and either approve or reject the ad.
This feature helps ensure that no pending ads are overlooked.
We are also introducing two new features designed to give you more flexibility and control over your classifieds experience:
Random Sorting for Classifieds List Block – You can now display classified listings in a completely random order, keeping content fresh and engaging for your visitors. This feature is perfect for ensuring equal visibility across all listings!
🔹 Custom Login & Registration URLs for Classifieds Publish Block – Need to direct users to a specific login or registration page? Now you can set custom URLs, streamlining the user experience and aligning it with your site’s workflow.
Other Fixes and Improvements
- FIXED: Contact options are now removed, and a notification is displayed when viewing an expired ad’s details page.
- FIXED: Improved email compatibility with the Multiverse extension.
- FIXED: Using a non-callable function in emails will no longer cause a fatal error.
- FIXED: Stripe credit card field now loads correctly when Stripe is set as the default payment method.
- FIXED: The “Your ad has been put into moderation…” message now appears in the correct location.
