We are pleased to announce the release of WPAdverts Authors 1.5.0, initially introduced at the end of January. This update brings an exciting new feature that deserves special attention — author registration moderation. With some additional time available, we are now sharing a more detailed update on this enhancement.
Author Registration Moderation
Starting with WPAdverts Authors 1.5.0, administrators can enable user moderation directly from the wp-admin > Classifieds > Options > Authors panel. This new functionality allows for more control over user registrations, ensuring a higher level of security and verification.

Verification Methods
There are two verification methods available:
- Manual Approval – An administrator manually reviews each registration and either approves or rejects the user.
- Email Verification – Users receive a verification link via email, which they must click to activate their account.
Additionally, administrators can combine both methods, requiring users to first verify their email address before undergoing manual approval.
User Moderation Panel
In the wp-admin > Authors panel, administrators can now view a Moderation widget, which displays each user’s status and email verification status.
Furthermore, administrators can approve or reject users directly from this panel and notify them via email about the status of their registration.
