Price Input
When the Currencies extension is activated, it registers a Price input that can be used with WP Adverts forms (both Publish and Search), you can see how the fields work in the forms in the short video below:
The default settings (like currency switcher, price range, etc.) for this field are in the wp-admin -> Classifieds -> Options -> Currencies -> Settings panel.
In the settings, you can check the “Default Price Field” checkbox to automatically convert the default Price input in the Classifieds Publish form to Price input.
Editing Price Input Using Custom Fields Extension
If you have the Custom Fields extension installed, you can overwrite the default settings while editing the form from the wp-admin -> Classifieds -> Options -> Custom Fields panel. The Custom Fields editor allows adding more Price inputs to the Publish and Search forms.
To do that, from the Custom Fields panel, edit (or create a new) Classifieds Search or Classifieds Publish form scheme. From the “Basic Fields” tab in the right sidebar, drag the Price field to the form and configure, and click edit to configure it
Aside from the default fields that any other field type has, this field type has the following “Field Specific Settings”
Enter Price As – select if you want users to enter the price as a single number or as a price range (that is, fill the min and max fields).
Allow Changing – checking this checkbox will show below the Price input a checkbox that allows switching between the Number and Range input.
Show Currency Input – when checked, the currency dropdown will be displayed inside the checkbox.
Currency Input Position – show the currency dropdown on the left or right side of the Price input.
Allow Changing Currency – if checked, users can switch between active currencies, if unchecked, the currency dropdown is read-only.
Show Duration Input – when checked, the duration dropdown will be displayed inside the checkbox.
Currency Input Position – show the duration dropdown on the left or right side of the Price input.
Allow Changing Duration – if checked, users can switch between durations, if unchecked, the duration dropdown is read-only.
