Price Input in the search form

You can allow your users to do advanced searches by price using the Price input in the Classifieds List block, but you need to have the Custom Fields extension installed.

If you do have it, go to the wp-admin -> Classifieds -> Options -> Custom Fields panel, edit the search form or create a new one if you do not have any search forms yet.

From the “Basic Fields” tab in the right sidebar, drag the Price field to the form and configure, and click edit to configure it, the options for the Price input are explained in the Price Input doc.

A few notes about the settings to get the best results:

• Enter Price As should be set to Range
• Allow Changing should be unchecked

Configuring Search Section

With most fields, you need to configure the Search section while editing the field to have the search work correctly. With the Price input, you only need to select the field in the “Search By” dropdown (most of the time you will want to select there “Price (adverts_price)” option as most of the time search will be configured for the default Price field).
